Practice Areas

Discrimination and Hostile Work Environment

Many forms of workplace discrimination are illegal and employers can be held accountable if they engage in or allow unlawful discrimination.

Retaliation

Did you speak up or assert a legal right at work and did your employer retaliate against you for doing so? Your employer may have violated the law.

Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment is unfortunately an all too common form of illegal behavior that can happen in the workplace. However, you have rights and we are here to help you get justice and protect yourself.

Unpaid Wages, Commissions, and Bonuses

Federal and state law regulate how and when employers must compensate employees for their work. If you believe that your employer has failed to properly pay you in accordance with the law, we may be able to help you get what you are owed.

ADA Accommodations

Qualified individuals with disabilities are entitled to reasonable accommodations in the workplace. If you have been denied a reasonable accommodation in violation of the law or need help navigating the accommodation process with your employer, we're here for you.

FMLA and Other Statutory Leave

Under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other laws, certain employees are legally entitled to leaves of absence. If you believe your employer failed to provide you with a leave of absence required by law, we may be able to help you.

Employment Contract Review and Negotiation

Many employees sign employment contracts when they start a job and/or when they leave a job (e.g., a severance agreement). We can help you navigate the contract review and negotiation process so that your employer does not take advantage of you.

Unpaid Overtime

The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requires employers to pay certain employees overtime in some circumstances. If you believe your employer has failed to properly pay you overtime, we want to hear from you.

Non-Compete Agreements

Non-compete agreements are only lawful in Texas if they satisfy certain strict criteria. Employers in Texas sometimes try to enforce unlawful non-compete agreements against employees. If you think your employer's non-compete agreement is legally unenforceable, we may be able to help you get out of it or negotiate a better agreement.

We are ready to help you.
